BOHS has been working in collaboration with construction industry leaders to develop a new course specifically for the construction sector. This course has been developed as a direct response to widespread demand from the sector: a demand for assistance in training and educating personnel in the health risks specific to their industry and workplaces, as the need to reduce workplace ill health within construction sites is becoming increasingly recognised.

The course, CCHRC – Certificate in Controlling Health Risks in Construction, has been extensively researched in partnership with industry experts, and has been trialled with industry personnel.

We’re delighted to announce that Diamond will offering the course alongside our other professional OH courses.

What is the course and who is it for?

CCHRC has been specially designed to provide training for anyone who has functional responsibility for controlling health risks on a construction site, such as site supervisors and site managers. The course is split into two modules:

  • Module 1: Identifying Health Hazards on Construction Site (online pre-reading module before the course)
  • Module 2: Controlling Health Risks in Construction (face-to-face teaching over one day).
